Review
This is my first book by Jane. And I can easily say that by the time the first chapter of this book was finished I knew I would be addicted to her writing!

This book was like anything I have ever read before. Told from the males point of view which in itself is weird but add to the mix that he is a male escort and you got yourself a drama packed book!

The book starts off with Hallen going on one of her numerous 'Dates'. This is where you first see his male escortness(Yes its a word LOL) kick off. He has been doing it years at this point so its not his first Rodeo. He could do this blind and know what to do and what to say. Like an actor reading from a script. He gives the woman just what they want and says just what they wanna hear.

After that he goes back and shows you his story, and boy is it some story he has to tell us! Years of been an escort has gathered some tales to tell.

My god some of the stories he has is UNREAL! Some of the women are bat shit crazy! Others are just lonely housewifes or just fed up been dateless.

Some parts of this had me so sad. The low self esteem Hallen has is so sad. There was bits in the book where I wanted to take him in my arms and tell him to f**k what everyone else taught! This job has him horrified with himself. He hates himself more then society does. And he shouldn't because he truly is an amazing person and one in a million.

After 7 or so years Hallen is fed up, does he really want to be doing this forever?

Then one woman really makes him look at what he wants. Of all the woman he's been with and yes he's been with ALOT why her? Don't worry she asks herself this REPEATEDLY.

Laura is SO different from the girls he's been with. He doesn't just want a date or even sex with her. He wants forever's with her, making love, holding hands watching sunsets.....*Sigh* Everything...

But there are some things standing in there way.... Kids....ex husbands.....*Cough* Twenty year ages gaps*Cough*...... So there start is not plain sailing, far from it. And wanting to try to be with a male escort is hard enough when you think your living in the shadow of over 1,000 other woman. It tends to send a girl a LITTLE crazy.....

But Hallen's story, and then Laura when she joins in one that will keep you begging for more. This book is scorching hot, how Jane got into the mind of a male escort and done it so well I would love to know! Maybe there's a story there..... ;)

EXCERPT 1

“So, what other services do you offer, Hallen?”

How many times had I been asked that question? How many times had I answered it?

She laid her hand on my knee, her gaze sharp, questioning, lustful—and ashamed.

The light was not kind to her, emphasizing hard lines around her mouth, the overly tight skin of her forehead.

She should have chosen a bar with softer lighting. Candlelight hides a multitude of sins. Except my sins are all on the inside.

When I’d arrived at the designated restaurant earlier in the evening, she’d been careful to conceal her age. Maybe she thought I’d care. I didn’t. I gave my name to the hostess and asked her to let Ms. Mandelsohn know that I had arrived.

It was always interesting meeting a new client—a challenge, too—getting to know her, putting her at ease, helping her to feel comfortable, working out what she wanted from a date. She needed to feel safe with me, like I’d take care of her in all senses of the words. And talking is underrated as a method of foreplay. Clients often said they felt like they’d known me for years. Well, they knew the part I showed them, which wasn’t the same thing at all. But it was enough to let me fuck them.

They didn’t always want sex—or they said they didn’t. Once they’d met me, they often changed their minds.

I started writing contemporary romance two years ago. Before that, I didn’t think I could write a sex scene. Turns out I can!

My lucky number is 13 because I was born on the 13th and live near a haunted castle by the ocean. My number one past-time is watching hot surfers get changed into (and out of) their wetsuits.

My husband doesn’t read my books. My mother does.

Writing is my love, my hobby, my total addiction. All my characters are important to me and whisper their stories, even when I’ve finished writing their books. That’s why you’ll often find bonus chapters/out-takes from various books, because those voices just won’t be quiet.
