There is someone in Rivers life that keeps her alive inside even when she doesn’t feel like she has much left to live for ,,, she gave her heart to him years ago and even though she never got to tell him he has always remained there ,,, Sammy was the boy next door and her brothers best friend ,,, Two years older than River but she felt connected to him ,,, This was more than just some childish crush ,,, This was LOVE
Sammy loved River just as much ,,, Two years may not seem like a big difference, but when your 16 and the girl you love is 14 it is ,,, and being her brothers best mate doesn't help
Nothing ever goes to plan does it? Oh no life is always there to slap you in the face just at the right moment to ruin everything ,,, Sammy is broken ,,, shattered and changed by the things that occurred when River turned 16 ,,, never truly knowing what happened or being able to understand it
So much more happens in this book but you need to read it ,,, as the story unravels youll feel the intensity of emotions reflected through the words ,,, we can honestly say that we both LOVED this book and would hope that so do you ,,, it comes highly recommended ,,, full of angst ,,, highs and lows and sheer emotion
