oh wow ,,, loved this book let me tell you ,,, so this is book 4 (full length novel) in the series so far ,,, ideally you would have read the previous books (there are novellas too) prior to reading this one as the are focused on a family ,,, The Gallos ,,, this is Thomas’ story ,,,,
so up until now we have heard only small amounts about Thomas ,,, being an undercover cop currently deep into his role he is unable to be around his family ,,, but this is the Gallos and therefore they often speak of him ,,, Thomas is a family man but he has a job to do ,,, it is real hard to be so deep into cover, especially when his actual normal self is the polar opposite to the role he is required to play
struggling to live the life he is in and missing the life he has left behind there isnt much to be positive about ,,, but there is someone that is keeping him grounded ,,, Roxy
Roxy is from the MC circle, although not actually a part of it ,,, losing her father at a young age and having a dead beat for a mother the only people that she has known and the only life she has known is that of the MC world ,,, but that is not the life she wants
Roxy doesnt do love ,,, she doesnt know love ,,, so when someone finally breaks down her walls so falls and falls hard ,,, Blue is everything she wants ,,, he is not like the rest ,,, but he cant give himself to her fully ,,,
so some things go down and revelations are made apparent ,,, but can people be trusted? lives could be destroyed ,,, hearts could be broken ,,, either way risks are always worth taking for the right person
thomas and Roxy come from two different worlds ,,, how do you adapt to a life that is so foreign to you? doubting yourself ,,, doubting others ,,, as we have all seen from the previous books the Gallos are one in a million with their lack of judgement and open home and acceptance ,,, Roxy has no clue what this is like and the whole thing is overwhelming and down right scary ,,,
this book is a really good read and really did enjoy it ,,, i was hooked pretty quickly and just wanted to keep going ,,, there is some suspense within the story which gives the thrill of the unexpected and unknown ,,, the essence of danger is a bonus ,,, Thomas has been a bit of a mystery for a while now and i have enjoyed finding out exactly who he is ,,, and i cant wait for you all to aswell ,,, he and his story doesnt disappoint ,,, the connection with Roxy will be felt by all and you will hold out hope for these two ,,, you may even find yourself becoming a little bit like Ma Gallo ,,, secretly hoping and wanting more babies to come along at any moment
we get to catch up wit all of the other Gallos again ,,, always and ever present of course ,,, love this bunch ,,, and would totally love to have a sunday meal with them all ,,, if not for the food just the conversation
i highly recommend this book and the entire series ,,, by the end of this one youll be itching to get your hands on Anthonys story ,,, now that one should be interesting thats for sure ;)
